Put down the crayons and the coloring book and show your little ones how to think outside the box. This free adventure day runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Colorado Spring Fine Arts Center's Bemis School of Art, 818 Pelham Place. Instructors will lead hands-on art activities that explore themes and art media present in the FAC's new exhibition "Floyd D. Tunson: Son of Pop." The super cool projects for the day include assembling shadow boxes from found objects, pop art collages and building clay sculptures. All ages and skill levels are welcome and parking in the Bemis lot is free as well. Call 475-2444 to reserve your spot or go to csfineartscenter.org for more information.
