Awarding-winning cookbook author signs books at Broadmoor

Meet the author

Steven Raichlen, award-winning cookbook author, will be signing copies of his latest book, "Island Apart," at Cheyenne Gourmet, the cooking shop in the main lobby of the Broadmoor, 1 Lake Ave. You'll find Raichlen there at 1:15 p.m. Friday and Monday. The book is a love story set on Martha's Vineyard, where he lives in the summer. There is a strong food subplot in this novel, but the book also deals with cancer, history and publishing.
