DAVID'S PICK: Milk and Cookies with Santa at The Citadel

Sure, the culinary fare, choice of beverage, storytelling, holiday sing-a-long and craft center seem to suggest that this event is only for the single-digit set. I just might rent a kid so it doesn't seem too odd for me to take a moment with the Big Man myself. Appearing with the mall's own Santa are musicians Xanthe Alexis and Tim Zhaniser, fairy godmother Mary Mashburn and artist Michael Hague. That's 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the Imagination Celebration Space at the Citadel mall, where the $3 tickets can be purchased. Children under 1 and parents are free.
