This Day of the Dead celebration incorporates visual and performance art, dance, stilt walking, a fire show, costumes and the signature skeleton ceremony. All against the backdrop of music performed by chill local acts, including Moonhoney, Edith Makes a (Paperchain) Sugar Skull and The Hopeful Heroines. Feel free to wear your Halloween costumes. Festivities begin around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Marmalade at Smokebrush, 219 W. Colorado Ave., suite 210. Tickets are $15 in advance (which is recommended for the typically sold-out event) or $20 at the door. Call 444-1012 or go online to smokebrush.org.
