Holy Cow Moosic Festival in Cañon City Friday through Sunday!
Fremont County's biggest annual musical event is the Holy Cow Moosic Festival (formerly known as the Belvedere Blues Festival), held each fall in Cañon City.
Through the first ten years, the BBF was held inside a big tent behind Merlinos’ Belvedere Restaurant at 1330 Elm Avenue in Cañon City.
And in 2010, we're changing the name and moving to the former football field at the Holy Cross Abbey, the former monastery on East U.S. Highway 50 in Cañon City! We'll have more room to play in, and everybody is encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the music out in the grass!
Sponsored and produced by the all-volunteer (no paid staff!) Fremont Community Foundation, the festival is always held on the weekend following the Labor Day Holiday.
