In what is certainly the biggest gig to play in the Loft, indie rock sensation Jade of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros will play the small Old Colorado City venue on New Year's Eve.
Chances are you know the band and it's hit song, "Home," which is among the most catchy tunes to hit the airwaves since John Denver and James Taylor dominated the charts. (See the music video below.)
When Uriah Werner, the owner of the Loft called us, he sounded like he'd won the lottery, and in a way he has. Jade has just done the late-night TV circuit, appearing on Conan O'Brien's and David Lettermen's shows. Now she's playing the Loft. It could put the intimate music venue on the map.
Also performing will be Mike Musick and Saint James Band.
