It was one of the great treats of my life: sitting down with the remarkable 96-year-old artist Eric Bransby and just letting him pour out stories of the people, places and paintings that shaped his life. Check out "Eric Bransby and Trevor Thomas: A Mural in the Making" before the exhibit closes on Jan.6. It celebrates the process Bransby and his assistant took on to create the Fine Arts Center's 75th anniversary mural that is both beautiful and historically potent. 30 W.
