One man. One guitar. That’s pretty much all it takes to get my attention. Fingerstyle guitarist and singer/songwriter Willy Porter cites guitarists Leo Kottke and Michael Hedges as influential in his musical development. That makes sense when you hear him pick the heck out of his guitar and wail through some lyrics. He’s opened for Tori Amos, Rickie Lee Jones, The Cranberries and Jethro Tull. He plays at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts, 304 Highway 105, Palmer Lake, $18-$22; 481-0475, trilakesarts.org.
