TERRY'S PICK: 'Assassin's Creed III'

The “Assassin’s Creed” franchise has been a bit of a roller coaster. The first two games were wonderful, but after “Brotherhood” and “Revelations,” the series fell victim to repetitive gameplay and unnecessarily complicated story lines. Thankfully, the fifth game of the franchise, “Assassin’s Creed III,” seems to have gotten the series back on track. Gamers are now transported to colonial America, where they battle Red Coats and engage with historical figures through the eyes of a brand new character.
