TERRY'S PICK: 'NHL 13'

As a long time Colorado native I’ve found that, for me, college hockey trumps professional hockey. I’m sure the University of Denver/Colorado College rivalry has something to do with that. But since a college hockey video game is likely to never happen, I’ll get my fix with the 21st installment of EA Sport’s hockey franchise. Sure, I may have had to look up the name of this year’s cover athlete (Claude Giroux) because I don’t follow the pro game anymore but I always enjoy my time on the virtual ice in this series anyway. It’s a lot less dangerous to play fake hockey and in video games I can actually skate.
