Grab your shopping bag and your appetite and be sure to wear some comfy shoes. This annual harvest celebration, filled with bands, great food, fresh pinto beans and roasting chiles, is a regular trek for many area folks. In fact, it's drawn more than 100,000 people. You'll meet a mirasol, Pueblo's most popular variety of native pepper. The festival is in Historic Downtown Pueblo, just off I-25, exit 98B.This 18th annual fest is 3-11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. No pets.
