Chocolate truffle winners includes a couple from Monument

Chris and Darcie Farrow, owners of Pikes Peak Chocolate Lounge in Monument, won the Best Traditional truffle prize at the Holiday Chocolate Festival at the Broadmoor Sunday. Their winning number was Candy Cane.
Andrew Starr, owner of Black Star Chocolates in Denver won with his Pomegranate Rose truffle.
The Grand Prize winner was Marisa Baxter, owner of Truffles in Paradise for her Italian Balsamic Fig truffle. Visit trufflesinparadise.com to buy this truffle as well as other of her award winning confections.
