Citadel Broadcasting stations KVOR (740 AM) and KCSF (1300 AM) and IMG College of Winston-Salem N.C. have agreed to a three-year agreement to broadcast Air Force Falcon Football games. Men’s basketball will air on KVOR and women’s basketball and men’s hockey will air on KCSF. The stations will also broadcast live coaches’ shows featuring Falcons’ Football Coach Troy Calhoun and Air Force Basketball Coach Jeff Reynolds.
“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with The United States Air Force Academy, which dates back to 1982. Over the past 29 years, KVOR has been witness to some amazing games under coaches (Fisher) DeBerry and Calhoun,” said Jim Arthur, KVOR Sports Director and play-by-play announcer in a statement.
“KVOR has been a great partner to Air Force Athletics, and we’re proud to be associated with the station, the Air Force Academy, and all the men and women of the armed forces it represents,” said Joe Potter, Senior Vice President of Operations at IMG College, the multi-media rights partner of Air Force Academy.
The Air Force Falcon football program kicks off September 3 at home against South Dakota.
