Film: 2010 Summer Film Series: "Thin" — Food is the essence of life. It nourishes us, it sustains us – and it also pleases us, forming the backbone of many of our most important sensual, social, and spiritual interactions. Depending on one's perspective, eating is a ritual, a joy, a necessity, even a torture. This film series, Feast on Film, explores how movies mine the dramatic territory circumscribed by the creation, preparation and consumption of food. This series takes place Tuesday evenings for the screening, analysis, and lively discussion of great films with Colorado College professors Dylan Nelson and Clay Haskell.
