2009 Francois Duhamel / Focus Features

BACK-SHELF PICK: From 'The Office' to a charming indie

THE GAZETTE

“Away We Go” (2009) — John Krasinski (Jim in “The Office”) stars as an expectant father who takes his girlfriend (Maya Rudolph) on a journey to find the right place to raise their child.

Sam Mendes directed the film, and although it’s not on par with his masterpiece “American Beauty,” “Away We Go” has moments of comic genius.
