Back Shelf Pick: 'Shoot 'Em Up'

“Shoot’ Em Up” (2007) — Like the original “Scream,” “Shoot ‘Em Up” is that rare film that works as both a parody and as a genre film within the style it’s spoofing. It’s funny, over-the-top and, at times, fairly exciting.
Clive Owen stars as a “Transporter”-type action hero, who can deliver a baby and have sex while wiping out bad guys by the dozen.
His favorite weapon: a carrot.
