BACK SHELF PICK: Make a date for tale of time travel

“The Time Traveler’s Wife” (2009) — The perfect at-home date flick. My wife was interested in it because she read the novel in her book group. I was drawn to it because I’m a sci-fi geek, and I’m especially geeky about time travel. The thrilling and romantic movie lived up to both of our expectations (though my wife tells me the sex in the book is much kinkier).
