Ports of Call: Carnival blog offers a window on life at sea
Built like a refrigerator and capable of packing away as much food, the popular Rabelaisian Carnival cruise director John Heald kisses and tells all on his recently launched blog and de facto message board. In little more than three months, Heald's blog (john heald.wordpress.com) racked up more than 400,000 hits, making it one of the hottest sites in the cruise industry, according to a company spokesman, and one of the top 25 blogs among the more than 1 million hosted by WordPress.com.
